For the British Art Lecture 2015, Edmund de Waal will talk about the relationship between poetry and contemporary art. Reflecting on what it means to be an artist who writes, he will examine the passionate interweaving of words and art, the visual impact of poetry and ideas of transcription and quotations in the work of Cy Twombly, Anselm Kiefer and Agnes Martin.
